Sadie Amara Calvano was born in America. Her most famous role is known for her role as Violet Plunkett from the CBS comedy 'Mom.' Calvano has a family in California she was initially interested in competitive gymnastics. In the end, however, Calvano chose to pursue acting as a profession. In 2010 she made her debut on screen in an episode from the CBS show 'NCIS.' Her big screen debut came a year after on the Biographical Drama "J Edgar". She became one of the best young actors on the scene over the next few several years. The performance she gave on 'NCIS' was nominated by the Young Artist Award 2011 for Best Performance in a Television Series that features the appearance of a guest Actress between the ages of 11-15. Her role as a special guest on Disney XD's comedy 'Kickin It' was nominated once more for the Young Artist Award. Calvano was a key character in "Mom" in the series in its first three seasons and also made several cameos in Season four. Her outing in 'Mom' was recognized with an award called the Gracie Allen Award for Outstanding Female Actor - Rising Star in the year 2015.
